Robert joined PNP 12 years ago after an extremely successful career in management and administration of nonprofit organizations, particularly in higher education. His special expertise is in Development and higher education.

Before joining PNP, Robert served in leadership roles at the Claremont Colleges, the University of Pennsylvania, and as President of Pacific University, and then CEO of the Council for Economic Education.

His expertise in executive leadership, resource development and institutional capacity building makes him a thought leader and an in-demand speaker and consultant. He is a prolific writer and produces PNP’s Annual Salaries and Staffing Trends Reports as well as other important issue oriented reports and white papers of interest.

Robert has advanced degrees from the Claremont Graduate School and is a Life Member of Claire Hall, Cambridge University.
